Business Cards

Ordering Business Cards from Lion Graphics is easy. Here are the steps:

Choose your paper stock and color

If you want to see some samples of cards some customers have done, Click here

We have a large selection of standard paper from which to choose. So ask if you don't see it here! If you want specialty stock, you can either supply it yourself or we can order it for you. Please ask for pricing. Our standard stocks are:

• 80# Bristol: untextured card stock that comes in White, Ivory, and Gray.

• 100# Bristol : slightly heavier than the 80# Bristol. Most of our card stocks are 80# cover. Only available in White.

• 80# Linen: crosshatch-textured card stock that comes in White, Ivory, Natural, Mauve, Gray, and Blue.

• NEW 100# Classic Linen: crosshatch texture that comes in White.

• NEW 110# Classic Crest: comes in Solar White and Natural White.

• NEW 88# Strathmore Wove: comes in Ultimate White and Natural White.

• 80# Fiber: fiber flecks in the card stock and backgrounds in White, Rose Cream, Periwinkle, Thyme, and Gray.

• 80# Laid: natural-looking linear texture that comes in White, Natural, Ivory, and Gray.

• NEW 80# Classic Laid: natural-looking linear texture that comes in White.

• 65# Parchtone: the look of parchment cardstock in Natural, Ancient Gold, and Blue.

• 65# Bright: card stock in bright colors of Orange Bright, Pink Bright, Green Bright, Yellow Bright, and Red Bright, Blue Bright, and Purple Bright. Dark inks are recommended. These are the same color front and back.

• 10pt Sun Cover: A fiery hot selection of neon colors: Orange Sun, Red Sun, Pink Sun, Yellow Sun, and Green Sun. These are the color on the front and white on the back. Dark inks are recommended.

• 92# Metallics: I've been so excited to add these!! Gorgeous shimmery card stock in Ice Gold, White Gold, Anodized, and Morphing Mauve (this one changes color from greens to mauves). These are the same color front and back. Click here for samples.

• 12 pt Textures: White cards in rich textures with a little bit of shine on the front. These are available in Premium Linen, Silk, Canvas, and Vertical pinstripe. The shine is only on the front. Some of these also have the texture on the back.

• 12 pt Woodgrain: preprinted natural wood image in the background (white on back).

• 12 pt Coated 1 Side: a shiny card stock (matte white on back) that comes in Gold, White, and Silver. Black and Red are also available, but only with Foil Stamping. White on the back.

• 75# Clear Translucent: like a rice paper or tracing vellum stock. Really dramatic. Difficult to print on, so remember that with the drama comes a little bit of curling of the cardstock. Still really nice, though.

• Digital 4-color printing is available on many of our stocks (lighter colors).

• Customer-Supplied Stock: our press expert needs to approve it, but we can get stock from you! These are subject to an overrun and more shipping charges because the paper is not kept at my printing press — we store it here at Lion Graphics for you or we ship it back to you.  Normally we run 9-12 cards per piece of paper.

• Just ask if you don't see the paper you want here! We can special-order some items, and this certainly doesn't list everything available, just most of the papers we keep in stock.

Choose your ink colors

- Our standard colors are included in our business card pricing. If you want to use non-standard PMS ink colors add $50 per color. Allow 5-7 working days for most PMS orders. These colors are only a close approximation. All are Pantone colors except for the Burgundy which is Van Son Bordeaux. Thermography (raised lettering) is standard unless you request flat ink.

- Standard color combinations are noted in the boxes below. For nonstandard combinations please allow for 5-7 production days.

- Screens of less than 50% are not recommended for raised printing. Raised ink and flat ink are the same price. We default to raised:

Foil colors are available at special pricing. Please inquire. The foils that are available are Black, NEW Apple Green, Blue, Copper, Gold, NEW Matte Gold, NEW Matte Silver, Matte White, NEW Orchid, Red, Silver, NEW Spectrum (a color-change foil), NEW Steel Blue, and Teal.

How many would you like to order?

Most of our cards are sold in quantities of 250, 500, 1000 and multiples of 1000 after that, per name. Digital full color cards are available in the quantities above, but also 100 per name.

Special service and additional charges may apply depending upon your art (for things like bleeds, flat ink, heavy ink, special art setup, nonstandard colors or color combinations, etc.). Use this as a guide and we will let you know the final costs depending upon the cards you want to print. Remember, if you don't see it here, just email me with your ideas.

If you have your art on disk, email it to us. We work in Freehand and can open most electronic files. Please do not send us Word files without also sending all fonts and graphics that you used separately. If you need a new look, please check out our Logo Design page. If you need us to set up the business cards for you, setup charges may apply — I will let you know right away. Once we finalize your order you can either send us a check for payment or pay online via PayPal (I would send you an invoice)
